Well, there has been a lot that has happened in the last couple of weeks. I have been so grateful for this last season I was able to spend in Switzerland doing the DBS. Reading through the Bible as a group, being able to discuss the Word together, looking for God’s character and nature, seeing God’s redemptive plan since the beginning of the Bible, and even more was such a privilege. I felt so honored to be able to do this school, and as I am in this next season of my life, I have been re-reading the Bible (at a slower pace, haha), and I get to see what I saw in the last season but also so much more. I have so many more questions but also revelations. God continues to reveal who He is to me daily and the plans He has for His people. I had such amazing people in my DBS, all from different cultures and some different languages as well. We all grew so much together in the short three months, but

I wouldn’t change it for anything else. We pushed each other all the way to the end. Laughing or crying together, worshipping, reading, working on homework, playing games, or just hanging out with each other, we all were able to see God through different perspectives and see things in the Bible that on our own we might not have seen or even thought of. It was an intense season with reading and lectures every day during the week and sometimes even on the weekend, but it was so rewarding. Thank you, Jesus, for that season and to all those who supported me financially and through prayer during my season there in Switzerland.

Life is an adventure with Jesus. After graduating from my DBS on September 17th, the very next morning I took a train to Paris, France. This has been a dream city of mine to visit since I was about 8 years old. Then I finally got to visit it. Traveling by myself, I stayed in Paris for 3 days, exploring and eating all the amazing pastries. Walking around, seeing the sights, and having the opportunity to explore the city I have dreamed about visiting was amazing. No, I didn’t really learn any French except how to say some food items because those are really important. I felt so blessed to be able to experience this.
I had this experience and would love to go back and visit Paris again. Then, on Saturday night, I took a bus from Paris all the way to London and arrived early in London on Sunday morning. I spent the day walking around, seeing the cool sights. The next day, I flew out of London into LA and then to Phoenix a couple of hours later, getting home Monday night. Even though I was so tired, I was so grateful for this opportunity to see a little more of the world.

Then Arizona. I was in Arizona with my family for about five days. I was able to hang out with some friends, with my family, and rest. It was a good and restful time but short for sure. Then I was off to Mazatlán, Mexico. On September 28th, I arrived at the YWAM base there a year after I first went to Mexico to do my DTS.

I am currently in Mexico doing the Artios Internship, which is an internship preparing me to become staff at the base in Mexico. It teaches us to serve on the base and disciple young people in Mexico. I have been here for two and a half weeks now, and it has been a big change. Learning to humble myself and really being intentional about spending time with others has been a big part of my being here. It has also involved a lot of asking God what He wants to show me and how He wants to grow me in this season. I’m really excited to see this process and how He works in the next couple of months!
